Randwick House

Nsw

The brief for this project was to convert two apartments into a single dwelling house.

Internal rooms and windows were rearranged so that the existing building could be largely retained. A low quality 1970s extension was removed and the back was opened up to a new living and dining pavilion in the rear garden. The house was repaired so that it read clearly as a whole two storey liver brick building with a modern steel and glass rear extension. A pool, garage and landscaping site between the extension and the rear lane. The new pavilion has 3.5m high ceilings and a large covered outdoor area.
